SendSteps is an independent project run by a SEND parent based in the UK. The website provides free digital tools designed to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), their families, and the professionals who work with them.

We are not a registered charity, company, or medical organisation. We are a parent who built something useful and wanted to share it.

• Use any tool on this website freely, for personal or professional use with children in your care
• Print outputs from any tool for home or classroom use
• Share the link to sendsteps.uk with other parents, teachers, or professionals
• Use the tools as part of your support work with families (e.g. as a SENCO, therapist, or support worker)

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute the code or design of these tools without written permission
• Republish or repackage the tools on another website, app, or platform — even for free
• Use the tools or any part of this website for commercial purposes without our express consent
• Remove or obscure any SendSteps branding or copyright notices from printed or shared outputs
• Present the tools as your own work

We take privacy seriously — especially given our audience includes children and vulnerable families.

• No personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted by any SendSteps tool
• All tool data (names, entries, settings) stays on your device only, using your browser's local storage
• We do not use tracking cookies, advertising, or analytics that identify individuals
• No account or login is ever required

Clearing your browser data or cache will erase any locally stored tool data. We cannot recover it.

The tools and content on SendSteps are designed as practical support aids — they are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, educational, or therapeutic advice.
